Dans cet article, on trouvera une brève révision des transformations
géométriques dont la translation, la rotation, la réflexion ainsi que la symétrie glissée.
Chaque transformation géométrique est définie et représentée en images. Il se trouve
dans les constructions et dans les ornements, des constructions d’objets géométriques
nécessitant de transformations du plan pour une présentation esthétiquement attrayante.
Les frises géométriques apparaissent dans l’art et on en trouve dans presque toutes les
civilisations. Elles constituent un domaine mathématique relativement simple qui
permet de s’initier au pavage et d’employer l’outil « isométries » tout en représentant un
aspect artistique intéressant
Cette recherche se donne comme objectif de faire connaitre l’usage des
transformations du plan dans la construction des frises et ainsi en donner certaines
applications dans le pavage et dans le dallage. Toutefois, avant de poursuivre dans le vif
du sujet, une révision des transformations géométriques s’impose.

Abstract

In this article we will find a brief review of geometric transformations including
translation, rotation, reflection and sliding symmetry. Each geometric transformation is
defined and represented in images. It is found in constructions and in ornaments,
constructions of geometric object srequiring transformations of the plan for an
aesthetically appealing presentation. Geometric friezes appear in art and are found in
almost all civilizations. They constitute a relatively simple mathematical domain which makes it possible to learn about tiling and to use the "isometric" tool while representing
an interesting artistic aspect.
This research aims to make known the use of plane transformations in the construction
of friezes and thus give certain applications in paving and tiling. However, before
continuing to the heart of the matter, a review of the geometric transformations is
necessary.
